About Us
At RYSE Inc., we are committed to providing transformative support to communities affected by violence and trauma. Established in 1993, our 501C3 Non-Profit began with a simple but powerful mission: to provide counseling and care for individuals and families coping with grief and loss due to the surge in violence and drug-related issues impacting our neighborhoods.
Over the years, we’ve grown and adapted to meet the evolving needs of our community. Today, we offer transitional housing for former foster youth, ages 18-21, providing them with a safe, supportive environment where they can rebuild their lives. Our team works diligently to offer psychological, emotional, and financial support, helping these young men and women navigate their journey toward independence and stability.
Our work continues to evolve as we focus on bridging gaps in mental health resources, fostering resilience, and offering a comprehensive path toward healing for the next generation.
Freeing yourself was one thing, claiming ownership of that freed self was another.
— Toni Morrison
Our Mission
Our mission is not only to provide a safe and supportive environment for these young adults, but also to instill and teach essential life skills that enable them to become independent, self-sufficient adults. Through psychological, emotional, and financial support, along with hands-on training and guidance, we help them develop the tools to live productively and successfully as they transition to adulthood. We remain committed to bridging gaps in mental health resources, fostering resilience, and guiding youth to reclaim their futures.

Our Vision
A future where every young adult from foster care has the foundational support and resources to thrive independently.
